Slow down and celebrate “Fast Lane
Art.” Berks Arts Council is seeking original art for a show
which will feature art selected from original entries
specifically created for this project, to be displayed on
billboards, donated by Land Displays, throughout the year in
Greater Reading.
“Programs like these have been
successful at generating awareness for artists within the
community,” says Jim Landrigan, BAC board member and
President of Land Displays. Landrigan was inspired by
similar billboard displays which gained popularity
throughout North Carolina in 2007.
“Local and regional artists are
encouraged to participate in this unique approach to
showcase the quality of regional artists,” says Connie
Leinbach, BAC Executive Director.
If you spot an artist's billboard,
email
lstimeling@berksjazzfest.com with the current location.
