BAC Membership Information ~ 2010/2011

Your membership dollars are spent to enrich the arts community right here in Greater Reading!  The Berks Arts Council has continued to take a leadership role, expanding the arts in our community season after season.

$25 - Art Appreciator

Invitations to shows; discount on special events and the BAC ArtsCard, with discounts at museums, theaters and retailers including:

- Buy-One, Get-One Tickets:  Reading Community Players; Cherry Herring Theater; Genesius Theater; Kutztown University Performing Artists Series; Reading Berks Chapter PA Guild of Craftsmen’s Spring and Fall shows and Historical Society of Berks County Museum

- Community School of Music & the Arts: New private instruction enrollments receive one free lesson in piano/organ/keyboard, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion or voice (must have own instrument) or two free new class enrollment lessons in Latin dance, hip hop or jazz.

- Metropolitan Opera Broadcast at the R/C Reading Movies 11 & IMAX: $2.00 off regular adult admission price only (not valid on senior/student tickets.)

- Reading Symphony Orchestra: 10% discount on single tickets.

- AC Moore, Wyomissing & Temple, PA locations: 10% off regular-priced items

- Gift Baskets by Gail: 10% discount on select gift items: www.giftbasketsbygh.com.

- CD Exchange, Mohnton:  $1 off used CDs and DVDs.

- 50% off subscription price to Berks County Living magazine (only $7.50 per year.)

- Subscription to the BerksArts Newsletter, published 6 x a year.

- Event listings in BerksArts Newsletter calendar, published 6 x a year.

- Advance notice of special Berks Jazz Fest concerts and events
- Opportunity for advance purchase of Berks Jazz Fest tickets before the public sale
- 10% off Berks Jazz Fest merchandise with BAC ArtsCard
- Gerald Veasley Jazz Base – show your BAC ArtsCard for ticket discounts on performances at the Gerald Veasley Jazz Base at the Crown Plaza Reading. (Certain restrictions apply; not valid during the Berks Jazz Fest.)
