Edgardo Cintron Band

Twelve-piece Latin pop orchestra Cintron returns to the bandshell with a set list that includes salsa, Latin jazz, and popular dance music.

Cintron mixes elements of Jazz, Soul and Latin influences into a very nice amalgamation that leans heavily on 60s and 70s R&B. Formed in 2000 by veteran jazz percussionist Edgardo Cintron and vocalist Rocco DePersia, the group boasts a strong lineup of seasoned performers, with particularly strong rhythm and horn sections.

Wanda Holdren-Vega, founder and choreographer of the Latin Flair Dance Troupe based in Reading, will provide Salsa dance instruction for audience members prior to the concert.
